Garage

While there was room in this garage for a car, it lacked order and functionality. Since space was not an issue, many unused items simply were in the way, and there was limited hanging storage available for ladders and yard tools. De-cluttering, consolidating the shelves to one wall, containerizing, and providing hanging storage improved the appearance and functionality of this garage tremendously.

BEFORE: This set of shelves made it difficult to get in and out of the car, and the garbage can and recycle bin were not easy to access from the door to the house when the car was in the garage

AFTER: The shelves were moved to the opposite side of the garage opening up a lot of space for the homeowner to more easily move around.

BEFORE: A number of unused items cluttered the floor and the shelves. Items remained in cartons from the homeowner's move several years earlier. In addition, the tools were housed in an unused garbage can.

AFTER: Clearing out the clutter, moving a second set of shelves from the opposite side of the garage, and providing bins and hanging tool storage improved the functionality of the space.
